One of the most frequent complaints that we receive from our clients is the amount of time that is “wasted” spent travelling back and forth between a technician's home base and the end user's workstation. Many times when the tech arrives for service, it is discovered that the support could have easily been provided over the phone if they just could have seen the problem with their own eyes.
You and your technicians will have the ability to initiate a Remote Assistance session with your end users by taking control over their desktops from any other computer. The best part is that it is integrated right into bigWebDesk, so all conversations that transpire through the chat session are logged inside the appropriate ticket.
There is a free version of Remote Assistance included with your subscription to bigWebDesk. It allows for one concurrent Remote Assistance session with a time limit of 6 minutes. Through our studies, we have found that the majority of support requests can be handled in less than 6 minutes, but the more in-depth support requests may require a purchased version. The price for one seat license of bigWebApps Remote Assistance is only $350 for the year. With the purchased licensed, you will have the ability to have an unlimited time allotment for each session. There is a bulk price available at 5 seat license as well. A 5 seat license subscription to bigWebApps Remote Assistance is $1250 per year.
